Blue Russian found at Little India Exit A

Monday, June 20th, 2011 at 8 p.m. we found a (vet estimates 2-3 year old) female wandering in front of Little India Exit A, looking a little lost and for people to pet her, pay attention to her. She got into the carrier without much fuss and was very compliant, and when we got home we gave her food and water and she ate voraciously. She is currently sleeping, eating, resting and enjoying the quiet in one of the quiet, warm, well-ventilated rooms (as our kittens do not get along with her).

She is a Russian Blue with bright Yellow-Green eyes and a healthy, shiny soft coat. She is very friendly, docile, sweet & gentle cat with clean fur, non tipped ear (non-sterilised), friendly towards humans, very affectionate and purrs when petted. She also has a raspy meow! She has a full-length tail and a rather small head in comparison to her body (so not a Chartreux or a British Shorthair). She moves very carefully and slowly and is pregnant with one kitten. On Tuesday I took her to the vet and she has no ear mites, and now has been dewormed.

We were wondering if she might have escaped out of her home as she's really well-fed, well-taken care of which is why we're posting in case someone is looking for her. If no one claims her we will have to find someone to take care of her as we are not able to monitor her if she gives birth, since we are going on vacation soon. Any genuine help will be welcome!
